Ravioli with Burnt Butter & Sage Sauce

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cooking Time: 5-10 minutes | Serves: 4-5


  • 100g Farmer's Table Unsalted Butter, chopped
  • 7.5g (approx. 20) fresh sage leaves
  • 750g fresh ravioli of your choice
  • 40ml lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Parmesan to serve


Melt the butter in a frypan over medium heat, add the sage leaves and lift out when crisp. Continue cooking the butter until lightly browned.

Meanwhile, cook the ravioli as per packet instructions and drain. Ladle 1 cup of the cooking water into the browned butter and whisk to combine before adding lemon juice, ravioli and sage leaves. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
